Negotiation Skills Training
For those who have a basic understanding of Negotiation and who are involved in negotiating with different clients, customers, suppliers on behalf of their organisation.
This training course will encourage participants to reflect on the different types of negotiating situations that they are involved in and consider in some detail, the process involved.
It will look at what you (the negotiator) want, what others want and what possible trade off’s can be made. Also discussed will be the alternatives to Negotiation and look at the possible consequences of different courses of action.
Throughout the programme, participants will be involved in a number of group and individual exercises based on the art of Negotiation. Some of these exercises will be based on real “negotiating events”, they themselves have taken part in.
At the end of the course, participants will have a greater understanding of the skills used in successful negotiating and be in a position to apply these skills in future.
